Training and Certifications

My work through Vitalis Light is grounded in over a decade of Reiki practice, formal training in animal energy work, and compassionate support for guardians navigating the loss of a beloved companion animal.

I am currently studying traditional Japanese Usui Reiki RyōHō  with Bruce Taylor at Roots of Life, returning to the source tradition to deepen a practice I have carried since 2016. I approach this work with respect for the lineage that shaped it, and with a commitment to continued study so that I can support animals, and the people who love them, with care, integrity, and presence.

It addressed the specific dimensions of animal loss, including euthanasia guilt, socially unrecognized mourning, and grief in children and the elderly, along with a working toolkit of techniques for managing intense emotion, from mindfulness and visualization to anchoring and nonviolent communication.
